Bollettieri Boulevard Street Dedication
Bollettieri Boulevard Street Dedication

Manatee County Government showed its appreciation to Nick for everything he has done for the area by renaming the street that makes the Academies’ west boundary “Bollettieri Boulevard.”

Camp Kaizen

As a pioneer in fitness, Nick is working closely with his wife, Cindi, to help combat the growing epidemic of childhood obesity. Camp Kaizen is a fitness camp for overweight girls between the ages of 9 and 14, focusing on the development of the four ‘C’s’ – Character, Courage, Confidence, and Commitment.

2007

USPTA Florida Division Hall of Fame

Nick is inducted into the USPTA Florida Division Hall of Fame.

King of the Court

In February of 2007, The St. Petersburg Times does a two-page feature spread on Nick called “King of the Court.”

IMG Swimming Academy created

The Swimming Academy is created at the IMG Academies campus in Bradenton, Florida.

USTA Elite Player Development

Nick is appointed to the USTA Elite Player Development Coaches Advisory Board by Patrick McEnroe to help develop tennis talent throughout the United States.

Nick is awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from New York College of Health Professions. Nick also speaks as the Commencement Speaker of the ceremony.

Birth of first Grandson

On June 12th, Nick’s first grandson, Hudson Nicholas, is born to Nicole Bollettieri and Brad Kroenig.

Classic Instructional Series on DVD

The Classic Nick Bollettieri Instructional Series is released on DVD for the very first time!
